Harvey Centre hosts horror experience

The Ghost Of Chesterton House

THE GHOST of Chesterton House, a pop-up event by Harlow Playhouse, will be coming to The Harvey Centre later this month.

In this first ever touring immersive experience, you will be seated around a dining table with 15 others, and become witness to the horrifying ghost story being presented to you by actors and a series of multisensory effects. With shadows lurking, objects moving, and lights flickering, this experience is sure to keep you awake at night.

There are two dates to choose from, October 26 or 27, and each night there are three time slots at 7pm, 8pm, and 9pm. Tickets to this event are £15 and include admission to Chesterton House: The Ghost Lounge after the main event. Daniel Powell, Digital and Audience Development Assistant at Harlow Playhouse, has said “Tickets are selling fast, the recommended age for the audience is 16 or over due to the scariness of the event.”

The event will be located on The Terrace opposite Burger King, with many other restaurants surrounding, so it will be perfect for a night out with friends or family.

The Playhouse is working alongside Freeman Productions and Contexture Theatre for this project. They have previously collaborated with the Harvey Centre for past pop-up events; the success of these has allowed them to create more. They plan to create at least two events each year.

Other venues for this event include OSO Arts Centre, Barnes and Broadway Theatre, Barking. For more information on this event please visit: https://www.facebook.com/ghostroomuk/, or to book tickets click on this link: https://playhouseharlow.ticketsolve.com/shows/873593857.
