ROYDON Primary Academy has been given a fantastic opportunity to utilise Burnt Mill Academy’s state of the art ICT department.
Part of the BMAT group, Roydon pupils in each year group have been invited once a term to use BMAT’s ICT suite. This involve a whole day of learning and will incorporate everything the curriculum requires.
Michael Clark, headteacher of the Roydon School, said: “We are looking to spend the year fundraising for our own ICT suite at Roydon, but in the meantime we want to give our pupils the best possible experience and we can do that at BMAT STEM Academy.”
Lisa Tooley, head of BMAT STEM Academy, said: “ We are thrilled to be able to offer our amazing facilities to children of all ages within our Trust family.”
The Roydon school will also receive a donation of 30 laptops from the trust.
