Level 2 Art and Design tutor Stacey Gardner

HARLOW College Art and Design students ran a cake sale to raise money for charity, Streets2Homes.

The Alice in Wonderland Mad Hatter inspired tea party took place in Harlow College reception on Friday 16 March and was organised by tutors Stacey Gardner and Julie Barton. The Level 2 Art and Design students baked cakes, selling at 50p each, and designed posters to put on display.

Tutor Stacey Gardner said: ‘We’ve done this for two years running now and it’s always been a good result raising money and awareness, and it’s good for the students.’

Streets2Homes, which is situated in Harlow, offers help to the homeless with a day centre providing food and showers every Monday to Friday.
