That amazing place! Ceases to amaze

That amazing place!

Down a concealed county lane just outside Harlow, stands 15th century Hubbard’s Hall.

Nowadays, what was originally an ancient monastery is known as ‘That amazing place!’ and it definitely lives up to its name! In the many years before it became a bed&breakfast and popular wedding venue, it was a concealed treasure owned by its most recent residents. The mansion is home to over eight acres of beautiful gardens and landscape, as well as proudly boasting that the in-demand residence can provide luxury overnight stays. But as if that isn’t enough, the estate home also has its own personal beauty salon, which is mainly used for bridal parties and guests.

Although the relaxing lodge has many other astonishing aspects, the hall is mainly used for weddings. The website alone highlights their previous successful nuptials, as well as offering twilight wedding packages and civil ceremonies. Lee Jacobson, one of the co-founders of ‘That amazing place!’ said: ‘I’m so happy with how the place has progressed. We always get amazing reviews and all our guests are so lovely.’

Apart from its main use as a wedding venue, the Essex countryside home opens its doors to the public as a quality bed and breakfast location, as well as offering activities such as fishing, cycling and beauty treatments. Other facilities include free Wi-Fi, a garden terrace and peddle bikes.

So if you fancy a luxury get away or have plans to elope, check out that amazing space!
