Witness appeal for teenager hit by car


THE Police are appealing for witness who saw a collision in which a car failed to stop.

An 18 year old man was crossing the road at around 7am on Monday, October 23 in Old Hall Rise, Church Langley, Harlow, when he was hit by a car at the junction with Denby Grange. The driver failed to stop, causing the pedestrian to suffer minor injuries; he was then taken to hospital for treatment.

The car involved was described as being dark blue or black, the make and model are unknown at this current time.

Witnesses who saw what happened or spotted a similar vehicle in the area at the time of the collision are urged to contact PC Pete Pettet at Chigwell Roads Policing Unit on 101.
