BURNT Mill Academy in Harlow are taking up #Challenge30 to prepare their students for upcoming exams.
Year 10 and 11 students at the academy will be completing an exam question everyday throughout November, to improve their revision skills and ease exam pressure.
They will consist of knowledge-based questions, which will require a range of skills to produce concise answers to essay style answers.
Head of humanities Kayleigh Trainer said ‘We are constantly looking at ways we can help our students to achieve the highest grades.
‘The project will also help to raise awareness of revision and encourage more independent learning. When it gets closer to May, they will be more confident in answering exam questions.’
The challenge is a great opportunity for students to put into practice what they have learnt in lessons, and prizes will even be given out for the top answers.
