ALL FOUR Air Ambulances across the Eastern Region have been pictured together for the very first time.
Covering the East of England and London, the charities representing the ambulance services came together to raise awareness and keep the Helicopter Emergency Medical Service team running. Last year, East Anglia Air Ambulance, Essex and Herts Air Ambulance, London’s Air Ambulance and Magpas Air Ambulance were called out to 6,787 serious medical emergencies.
Joanna Dew director of fundraising, EAAA said, ‘Working together within Magpas, EHAAT and London’s air ambulance for National Air Ambulance week has been a pleasure and a fantastic way to showcase the work we do.’
The charities are advertising their pin badges for a £1 donation. They are available throughout the East of England and London, at petrol stations, retail outlets, and independent shops and at Stansted Airport. There are four badges to collect in total, representing the four different air ambulances.
