After the shock result of this year’s general election, which saw a Hung parliament as a result after a majority was unable to be formed due to the vote being so close between Labour and the Conservatives.

Prime Minister Theresa May of the Conservatives is now trying to make a deal with the Democratic Unionist Party after a flood of first time voters made their voices heard in what is possibly the biggest shock in UK politics in a number of years.

I spoke with first time voter and Harlow College student George Harvey, 19.
